Mom took me to Virginia Beach this past weekend. She said something about a Color Me Rad 5k. Whatebs. She didn't bring me, so pfffth.
On the other hand, I did travel in comfort. I mean, does your human bring your dog beds on rides?
I don't often sit, but when I do, I try to look as awkward as possible.
Mom stopped at Wendy's for lunch. I was scopin' out the menu for my order.
I'll take the baconator monster burger please, Mom.
Mom, Y U NO GET ME MAH BACONATOR?! I can haz your cheeseburger?
How about a fry?
For shame, woman, for shame.
Tired of lookin' cute to get noms.
Mom, less clicky-flashy box, more fries.
Ugh, fine. I gibs up.
Despite my size, I squeezed into Pepper's crate (which is a small/medium). I even managed to turn around inside it. Mom wasn't sure how.
No, I am NOT too big!
Told you I wasn't stucks!
On de way home. I was workin' out mah neck muscles.
Mom, maybe you should focus.
Despite my bad breath, Mom thinks mah teefs are pretty cute.
Really, woman, enough with the clicky-box. No body wants to see all these photos. (Well, they better, but I'm trying to be modest!)
I reteached Mom that I really am cat safe... INSIDE. There was that one time last year that it was suggested that maybe I wasn't. But I iz. I didn't eat Schwarzenegger the kitty (that's not really his name, but it started with an S!) and I even tolerated Chloe (the pup) wanting to play with me.
Hi fans! I'm sorry it's been such a long time since I've updated. My Foster Brothers have hogged the computer updating their blogs trying to get adopted.. and I know how important finding your forever family is, so I've let it slide.
Let's see.. what's been happening??
I really wanted to clean out this kong and I forgot to let Mom take off my muzzle! I was pretty excited.
If your parents don't give you pillows, they aren't good parents.
I shared my bed with my foster brother, Donner. Mom documented this because I don't usually share.
...But I'm learning that sharing isn't an option. I'm getting good at it!
We went to a meet and greet in February. I let Donner borrow my bow-tie so people could see how handsome he was.
Mr. Bruce was teasing me and Donner with squeaky toys.. but he bought them for us, which is why we like Mr. Bruce.
On the way home, I was very tired. Aunt Courkie thought that it was very funny that my nose was caught on my muzzle which was causing me to make my "grr" face.
Me and Donner had a dog park date with Gracie and Buddy! We were all chasing the little dog who kept getting the ball!
1) We have an extra puppy in our home right now. His name is Donner. He's not staying with us for permanent, but just until he gets adopted.
2) We've been going on walks again. I was on an exercise diet for 1.5 months, but Mom figured some light walking wasn't going to kill me. Yes, I'm still limping sometimes, but it comes and goes. Mom is still curious as to why I'm limping and we were supposed to get a referral from our vet to go see a specialist, but because of #3, we haven't been able to yet.
3) We moved to a place with CARPET andddd SO MUCH SPACE!!!! I don't have to back up everywhere anymore. I can actually turn around! I'm still afraid of the slippery floors in the dining room, but its so much better than before cause she got me some special rugs!!
4) Mom made a new toy investment! I had killed most of my squeakers in my squeaky toys, because they are my favorite. I saw how many she bought last night, but she only gave us ONE last night! (In her defense, she did also buy 2 new toys a few nights prior, and I snuck in the bags and pulled the toys out before she was even done unloading the bags! She had to take them from me to cut the tags off..)
5) She gives me lubbins whenever I ask her to and she is patient with me over the slippery floors and she turns Donner out of the way when I can't get past him to get to my food bowl and she gives me treats and she takes me to meet and greets and she endures my bad breaths and she says she loves me more than any other doggy that comes to my house, forever.
How about some videos?
Characters:
So there's me, Phil, the big, white, Greyhound.
There's Donner, the big, brindle, Greyhound (who is looking for his forever home).
There's Noodles, the "husky", long, Dachshund. (Aunt Courkie's dog)
And there's Judge, the teeny, tiny, smallest dog in the house, mini-Dachshund. (Aunt Courkie's dog)
Here's a video of mostly just me with my new chicken. We had to hide it after this video because Noodles is a little vicious with toys and Mom didn't want this one to have such a quick life.
