One of my most life altering weekends....

Guys.. you know how I'm all I'M THE ONLY PUPPY GIVE ME ALL THE LUBS?  Ok, not really, but I like to pretend.  So anyways, you member when I told you about my incoming sister?

Well, she has finally shattered my forever only dog dream.  Mom hasn't put down her clicky flashy thingy all weekend.  She did make a point to take my piktchure a few times and anytime she gave Meri lubins, I got lubins too.  Really, its annoying with her all up in my face even more than she used to be.  She says that I'm still the bestest puppy luppy ever.  But... Meri is still poopin' in the dining room.  She might change her tune when Meri gets potty trained like me.

Oh yeah, and if you're confused about who Meri is.. that's "Sam".. member when Mom decided to call the new puppy Samwise Gamgee?  Well, she had a crisis of faith the morning we went to pick up the puppy and changed it all up to Meriadoc Brandybuck... but Meri for short.  Don't worry, Mom confuses me all the time too.

But anyways.. I'm just gonna share Mom's photos with you because the puppy is kinda cute... when she's not trying to get me to play with her by trying to nibble at my ears or my nose.  Mom said that as long as I don't use any teeth, Meri and I can sort it out, but if I get nasty and use my teefs, Mom will step in and no one likes hearing Mom yell.... ESPECIALLY ME!

It was our last ride without having Meri

Meri playing with her sister Julie.

Meri wasn't sure why Heidi kept grumbling at her.. she just wanted to snuggle.

Size difference.

As you can see, I was not impressed.
Meri was concerned about all the traffic though.

She was always in the middle!  I had to go all the way around her!
pffth.

When I thought Mom wasn't looking, I let Meri touch me.

When Mom stopped to get gas, there was a rainbow.
She said that meant it was a good day.

And this was the sunset.  I guess it was pretty or something.

Mom went a little crazy with selfies of her and Meri.
She did the same thing when I came home.
At least she's consistent (meaning she was in her jammies both times)...

Meri snuggling in Mom's lap.
Mom says I'm too big for that, but if I wanted to try she'd let me.
Yeah right lady.

Mom put Meri up on MY guest bed.
She said I was puppy sitting because she was going to take a nap.

Later, after our walk with Olive and Zoey, this happened.

Mom was speechless I let Meri snuggle with me.

Eventually, Meri moved on and got to snuggle with Mom.

On Sunday we went to the Dog Fest in La Plata, MD.
I love gettin' pettins from strangers.

Mom took Meri for a walk while I was gettin' my pettins.

Meri was very protective of Mom when she was in her lap.
Mom said she was barking at all the dogs that passed them... but when Meri wasn't in her lap, Meri wanted to be friends with all the dogs.  Apparently she's protective of Mom.  I'm not sure what that means, but I don't have this problem, Mom is sure.

Don't let this photo fool you.. I was actually pretty excited when Mom and Meri came back.
Even when Meri jumped on the pen to greet me.

First family picture!
