Old Man Phil was a racin dog, but as much as he sleeps, I'z not surprised he haz all da energies stored up.  Everbodys was surprised with Phil was runnin wif us, cause he neber does dat.

Dis is da room where Foster Mom set up mah crate.  Old Man Phil lubs mah crate.  Well, he can haz it, I just sleepz on da couch.

I'z not movin'.  Dis is too comfys.

Foster Mom came home for lunch and I was patiently waiting on her to shares her lunch noms.

Dis is Old Man Phil's raised feeder.  He really iz bigger dan me.

De weekend before dis one, Foster Mom had Phil and me and dis other dog named Moe.  He was really big.  He only stayed wif us for da weekend dough.  He was very lazy, like da Old-Man-Phil.  All dese sleepin dogs.  Dey don't know how much fun bouncin' is!

Old Man Moe

Moe was in my playin way!

All free of da boys.

Foster Mom fought dat leabin me out for a short period of time could be ok...
..I pooped in da floor.  She was just glads de runny poops weren't on de carpets.

Dis is me bein silly with da fake bone.  Dere's so many fun toys here!

Den on Saturday, Foster Mom left me at her house alone!  Her and Old Man Phil went to somefing called a Meet & Greet.  Iz about Greyhounds, so I didn't pay much 'tentions.  She made me put dese fotos on here...

Dis is Old Man Phil riding with da back seat layed down.
He telled me he liked dis much better dan his hammock.

Dis is Dexter at da M&G.

Dis is Old Man Phil.

Dis is Dexter again!

Dis is Lulu.  She wasn't really dat happy.  She was just panting, a lots.
So I'm told.  She looks really happys.

Dis is AJ.

It wasn't all bad bein left at home alones.  When Foster Mom came back, she had a bag full of da goodies (she brought Old Man Phil back wifs her too)!  Some toys for me.. FINE. and Old Man Phil.  Some treats dat are delicious.  Dis stick da frows da ball, which I fink is also good for da chewin on (aldough Foster Mom wasn't too happy with my chewin art on de brand new frowy fingy).  And da Old Man got a new black leash to match his collar set.

Despite how grouchy da Old Man is, he definitely has Foster Mom trained!!

Absolut Greyhound

Back in May there was a private Absolut event and a few very social, not scared of thunder pups were invited to join the event.  The new Absolut commercial has "greyhounds" racing, so to have a few real greyhounds was pretty cool.

If you haven't seen the commercial:

Now you have.

It's a pretty cool commercial if you're into weird crap and greyhounds.  I mean, Mom's watched my racing videos and despite the fact that she knows I'm not injured, watching me trip and fall made her gasp and give me extra love to make up for the loss.

Anyways, what I really wanted to share with you are the pictures!!!

This lady REALLY liked getting her picture taken with me.

I was NOT pleased about this floor.  AT ALL.

I was looking around for safety...

but none was too be found...

Me and Mom!!  She had to direct me towards the camera, but YAY for fun times
(except for that slippery floor!)

We had a lot of fun.  The event started around 9pm and we left around 11:15pm, before the event was over because Mom had to drive an hour to get us back home.  I got so many carrots and got to hang out with Jozef and some other pups I hadn't met before.  I got lots of pettin and eventually, I laid down because it was way past my bedtime.

Mom said I did really good.  Especially since we left during my evening nap time and the event was after my bedtime.  I enjoyed all the people and pettins, despite the slippy floor (and Mom and Miz Lesley having to slide me across it).

Back in my day....

So back in the day, I was a racing Greyhound.  Man, I was speedy!  I won 1st place 6 times!  I mean, that might not be the best of the best.. but now that I'm retired, none of that place stuff matters anymore.

Mom always tells me I'm her #1 puppy!

But if you want to see something cool... Mom found my racing videos!

Go to this website: http://www.trackinfo.com/dog-search.jsp
Then search for the name: Pals Spot Light   (now you see why Mom renamed me!)

There are number tabs at the top of the box.  Several of these tabs have my racing videos linked.

Whew, am I glad those racin' days are done.  This retired stuff is perfect for me!

I wouldn't be able to do this as a track doggy!  Never ever!

First day with my new mommy!

Hi!!!  I'm Phil!  I'm Megan's new goofy greyhound.  I'm a super awesome pup, and I'm ready for retirement!  Foster mom was pretty cool.  She had 6 other doggies that I got to hang out with last week!  That was so cool.

Last Friday, Foster Mom and Real Mom met up and I went home with Real Mom.  She seems pretty great.  Kinda silly sometimes, but she likes to give me hugs and kisses and pettins and treats and she feeds me pretty well and we go outside a lot.  She also likes to let me take naps, which other than playing with my squeaky toys is my favoritest thing to do.

Mom kept pointing this thing at me, so I was getting a closer look.

Riding in the car on the way home.  Mom cracked the windows for me so I could get some fresh air, but I wasn't really comfortable with the slippery seats, so when we were moving, I'd just lay down.

This is me, saving my new Mommy from a ticket.  No jk.  Really happened.  Talk about treat points for me!

This is my new mommy and me.

Like I said, she's silly sometimes.  She made a face at me since I wouldn't look at the camera.

Mom's bathroom is kinda tiny.  Or maybe I'm just really big.  I think its just the bathroom.

Then again, my head can lay on the counter, so maybe I'm just pretty big.

I always get a frozen kong with peanut butter in it when I go into my crate.  This is why my mommy is the best!
The first day, I got acquainted with the stairs (NOT FUN) and slippery floors (HATE!).  I pretty much confined myself to Mom's living room rug since it wasn't slippery.

Mom kept saying, "Phil come" and she would give me a treat if I would go to her, so I did learn something my first day!

I have a super big bladder and I really like being outside.  I LOVE to mark anything that remotely doesn't smell like me.  I also would probably like to have another doggie to play with when Mom lets me run in the dog play area.  Mom says the apartment is too small and she has to pay extra rent for doggies (which would come out of my treats money!), so at least for another year, I'll be an only child.

Mom let me sleep in the bedroom with her my first night.  She put me in my crate, but I started to whine.  Since it was my first night, she must have felt sorry for me, so she laid a Dalmatian (seriously, mom?) blanket in the floor for me to snuggle with.  I slept all through the night and only woke up when I heard Mom moving in bed.  I had no accidents, which made Mom very proud.
